Redondo Union High of California teammates Lyla Fedio, a senior, and sophomore Alexandra Manss placed second and sixth, respectively, at the Bay League final, helping the host Sea Hawks capture the girls team title by a 49-53 margin against Palos Verdes High. Fedio covered the 3-mile layout in 17:41.87 and Manss clocked 18:16.18 to contribute to the first league championship for Redondo Union since 2011.
