Kai Deines, a Penn-bound senior at Redondo Union High in California, won the Division 1 boys discus throw and shot put titles at the CIF Southern Section finals at Moorpark High. Deines prevailed in the discus with a 180-8 (55.08m) and triumphed in the shot put with a mark of 60-0.50 (18.30m).
